How it All Began...
Steve Schleeter is a class of 1982 graduate from Repperts School of Auctioning.
After completing school he took his required apprenticeship from Rolland Porter in Grover Hill. He then continued to work with Mr. Porter. A year later Steve was asked to take over the auction for Mr. Porter in St Mary's, Ohio. Steve did take over the auction and after several years they expanded the business to a level that he had to look for a larger building. In 1987 Steve and Joan purchased the Old County Line Bar and remodeled the building. In the years to come, they then purchased the house next to the auction. Since the purchase in 1987, they have added 3 more additions. The Schleeter's have owned and operated a successful business buying consignment auctions every since.
Schleeter's Auction is a family run business with Steve and his son, Bob, as auctioneers.
